I’ve had the pleasure of capturing the architecture, culture and people of Toronto for the past seven years. But capturing a wedding at the Guild Inn Estate was truly a gem. If you haven’t been - picture a quaint restaurant interior, no pomp or fuss, just tasteful interior décor and fine dining, French doors that lead to a patio lit up with strings of fairy lights, which then lead to expansive grounds decorated with trees and stunning Roman-esque pillars and arches overlooking the lake. Add in a beautiful bride and groom and their loved ones, and you have a quite the memorable wedding! (more)
I am always thrilled to take photos of a recently engaged couple. Spirits are really high and it always shows in the images. However, this time, I was extra excited. For the first time, I’d get to do a photoshoot at the incredible Neon Demon Studio. Not only that, but it would be the first ever engagement shoot to take place at the studio. I was very pleased with how they turned out as the beauty of the occasion and love they have for each other shone through in the pictures. (more)
Special events are always fun, even when they are corporate events – that is after you take away all the hassle and details that go into making the event a reality. Indeed, every successful event requires a bit of hard work and most of the time a collaboration with the right individuals. Needless to say that you will want to capture all of the emotions, moments and all other happenings during the course of your event. Which begs the question: who should take photos of your event or better still, whom can you trust to take your events pictures properly?
Generally, there are two options available to you, when you’re looking to get your special event captured on camera. You’ll have to make a choice between getting an amateur (probably your pal, family or colleague) or a well trained professional that is well-versed in photography. (more)
